With our Phil Wood spoke machine, we can custom cut your spokes to any desired length, and our qualified mechanics can build your wheel. Choose your colors, anodized, many colors available. Spokes, rims, spoke nipples, hubs, etc.

Custom Wheels

Having custom wheels build is a big decision and you may need some guidance from experienced professionals. When you are thinking about having a custom set of wheels built, think of Re-Cycle Bike Shop. The owner has 30 years experience building custom wheels. We have a Phil Wood spoke machine that can custom cut any length of spoke that you will need. We even have many colors of spokes to choose from. So when you decide that you want a custom set of wheels build, please give us a call so we can set up a consultation appointment. We will set up a time that we can work with you to help you decide on a wheel set that will meet your cycling needs.

Hand Built

We hand build each wheel. We can help you decide on the rims, hubs, spokes, nipples, lace pattern, and color. We custom cut each spoke based on these decisions with the help of our Phil Wood Spoke Machine . We keep a variety of colored spokes in stock but can also make custom orders. We will build your wheels, true them, and mount them on your bike and off you go to ride.

We can build 12" to 29" wheels, as well as fat bike wheels.

For an extra fee we can true your wheels with a micrometer within 10/1000th of an inch.

We can also replace single or multiple spokes and re-true the wheels.

We build and repair wheels for special applications like wheelchair wheels also.
